E.M. Delafield

E.M. Delafield was an English writer best known for her satirical "Diary of a Provincial Lady" series, which humorously depicted the life of an English gentlewoman between the World Wars. Her work often explored social conventions and domestic life with wit and keen observation. Delafield was also a prolific author of novels and short stories throughout the early 20th century.
