Charles Perrault

Charles Perrault was a 17th-century French writer and poet, best known for his collection of fairy tales, "Histoires ou contes du temps passé". This collection introduced classic stories like "Puss in Boots", "Cinderella", and "Sleeping Beauty" to a wider audience. Perrault's work established many of the narrative conventions still associated with these fairy tales today.
